I have a propane refrigerator that has stopped working. I’ve been told that these refrigerators never die and that it can be fixed somehow does anyone know if this is true? Thanks Carrie Casey

We were told by the folks that we bought our place from that these refrigerators sometimes get an air bubble in the system and you need to turn them upside down to burp them and they should start working again. Have never had to try it yet but may be a possibility??

You need to “burp” the refrigerator. Shut it off, disconnect it. Put it one one side for 10 minutes, put it on the top for 10 minutes, put it on the other side for 10 minutes & then back upright for 10 minutes. Start it up.
This has worked for me several times & was recommended by repair people.
