The Following Land Use & Fire Restrictions Apply

NEW Debris Burning Requirements


For burning debris, burn in small 4-feet x 4-feet piles:
▪▪ Maximum pile size 4 foot in diameter.
▪▪ Clear all flammable material and vegetation within 10-feet of the outer edge of pile. Cleared to mineral soil or gravel.
▪▪ Keep a water supply close to the burning site.
▪▪ An adult should be in attendance with a shovel until the fire is out.
▪▪ Make sure that your fire is out - DEAD OUT - Drown! Stir! Drown!
▪▪ No burning shall be undertaken unless weather conditions (particularly wind) are such that burning can be considered safe.
▪▪ Monitor for a minimum of 2 hours once it is burned down.

Failure to comply with Debris Burning Requirements, may result in a Three Rivers LOA fine.

Debris Burning Requirements

* Warming Camp Fires allowed.

* Burn Barrels allowed.

* Yard debris is allowed. NO BRUSH BURNING ON WINDY DAYS or forecasted windy conditions. It is advised to burn brush in am hours before afternoon winds pick up.

* Rifle Range Is Open

* Never leave a fire unattended. This may lead to fines.

Burning of any other fuel in a propane log campfire is not allowed and is in violation of fire restrictions.

NOTE: (Propane log campfire's sites must be approved through the Fire District.)

PROHIBTED FIRE ACTIVITES INCLUDE:

 •  FIREWORKS

 •  BURNING OF AUTOS & TIRES. 

•  STRCTURE BURNING * INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO

TRAILIER'S, CAMPERS, RV'S, AND ANY BUILDING. 

•  OPEN FIELD BURNING, GRASS AREAS & BRUSH AREAS.

 • WOOD STOVES & OTHER WOOD APPLIANCES FOR ENCLOSED FIRE'S:

  • A) USED FOR HEATING A HOME ARE ALLOWED
  • B) USED OUTSIDE AS A COOKING SOURCE OR AS A HEAT SOURCE ARE NOT ALLOWED WHEN OPEN BURNING RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT.

You are required to call 541-410-5077 daily for current fire restrictions
